About the Organization
The Broward County Non-Public Schools Association was established to provide a forum where leaders of private and independent schools could exchange ideas, advocate for shared interests, and work together to strengthen the quality of education delivered across Broward County's diverse school community.

Our membership spans every grade level, from early childhood through high school, and serves communities across Broward County from Deerfield Beach to Pembroke Pines and every city in between.
Our signature programs include the annual Pinnacle Awards Luncheon, which celebrates the outstanding students of member schools; professional development opportunities for educators and administrators; and a growing scholarship fund dedicated to recognizing student achievement.

What the Pinnacle Award Recognizes
Each BCNPSA member school may nominate up to three students. Schools determine their own selection criteria. In general, Pinnacle recipients are students who set an example for others by their actions in the home, the school, or the community. They excel in one or more of these areas: academics, community service, citizenship, fine arts, athletics, student activities, perseverance, effort, dedication, commitment to positive goals, improvement in performance, and attitude.
Many Pinnacle recipients may not qualify within the narrower criteria of other award programs, yet they truly deserve recognition for their contributions to their school and school community. The Pinnacle Award is about character as much as accomplishment.
